Dear Dierdre (otherwise known as Iliketomoveitmoveit!) Thank you, you are right. I know I need to be calm but it can be so bl**dy difficult at times. He's just one of these people who has a dig at every little thing without even realising he's doing it. Most of the time I just ignore him, but I'm not having it now!!

Also rather peeved today cos he woke me up this morning talking really loudly on his mobile when I was dreaming about Eris. I think it's the first dream I've had about her. Nothing major happened, I was just cuddling her in bed. Then I got woken up too soon by dp's loud gob! I feel really sad now. Bawled my eyes out all the way to work. Really miss her. Real heartbreaking feeling like in the very early days

Anyway, enough about me! Shabs, that really sucks about your house. Try not to worry about it too much while you are away. Enjoy the sunshine and your lovely Greek friends and say lots of "Umpah"'s!! Poor Em. Baby blues really can be horrible can't they? Does she know about all of us? If she does, tell her we're all thinking of her and give her extra hugs from us. It's OK to feel crap - we all do (apart from the few freaks out there who are back to themselves physically and emotionally minutes after birth!).

Lots of love to everyone. xx

Shabs - so sorry about your landlord. Best wishes and prayers to you for sorting that situation out. Have a great holiday.

frasersmummy · 26/06/2008 17:07

OMG shabs thats awful . I agree with hazy girl that perhaps with nothing selling he migh need to back down and keep it as a rental property. I will pray that this gets sorted quickly and easily for you after all 6 weeks is really short notice to pack up your life and move on (hugs)

Have a fab time in Greece you deserve it.

FMN . I am sorry you are having such a tough time of it right now.
Its hard for both of you right now you will both be happy, sad, excited, and worried sick all at once. Its no wonder you are fighting with each other
The fact you and your DH have supported each other through the loss of Eris shows how strong a relationship you have... and therefore you will get through this pregnancy too.

shabster · 26/06/2008 18:04

Right girls - 'I get knocked down but I get up again!!' Housing advice have told me I have a minimum of 8 weeks and they are going to tell him that on our behalf.

This may sound fanciful and foolish. I sat and 'talked' to my two sons last night. I held their photos in front of me and said 'Boys I need your help more than ever, can you sort out this mess for me?' Dont ask me how I know but I know that everything will be ok. We have at least 6 weeks when we come back from hols.

We know loads of people in our area who are all looking out for us and asking friends who have property etc etc.

I am going to Greece on Saturday, I am going to eat too much, drink far too much, wet myself laughing, sing loudly, smash a few plates and Greek dance. Then I will come home on the 12th of July and we will begin the 'new journey.'

So endeth the lesson

lottiejenkins · 27/06/2008 21:09

Shabs, my big idol is David Bowie, i have a story about him... I am a HUGE fan of LS Lowry(matchstick men etc) anyway about fourteen years ago I went to an auction at Christies to see some of his paintings being sold, when they had gone a lot of people left and new people sat down, I happened to glance up and one row in front three seats to the left of me sat.............DAVID BOWIE.......... I sat there with my mouth hanging open anyway he turns round and smiles at me and i promptly slide down in my chair in shock when i looked up he was laughing! I didnt dare ask for an autograph for fear of bidding on an monstrously priced picture!

shabster · 27/06/2008 23:40

Lottie - L S Lowry lived about a quarter of a mile from my old house when I was a little girl. I adore Rod Stewart. and really like David Bowie. cha cha cha changes....turn and face the strain.....

My love to each and every one of you (and all our beloved children) Please could you raise a glass on Monday 30th June and toast my Matt's 24th birthday. Also do the same for Triplets Matthew on the 9th July........that way we may be 2,500 miles apart but we will be doing the same thing.

See you all soon, take care. UMPAH UMPAH

hi girls

how are we all tonight. We were round at my in laws a couple of hours ago.

my mother in law has a show house ... you cant sit on the furniture either in the conservatory or in the living room without a throw. You must take your shoes off the minute you enter the house, you can only use certain towels in the toilet... you get the idea.

so there we were in the living room when my 3 year old throws up .. and not just once.. it was like mount vesuvias. I picked him up and carried him to the downstairs toilet.. being sick as he went. It was everywhere!!!

I know I shouldnt laugh but now ross is sleeping peacefully I am having a chortle at my inlaws face!!!

lottiejenkins · 28/06/2008 21:46

I'm glad Ross is feeling better!

shabster · 29/06/2008 09:42

Morning girls from 2,500 miles away in Faliraki.

It is good to be home with our Greek family.

We 'wet the babys head' last night - ouzo style still feel a little this morning....might have to do it all over again tonight.

Take care, speak soon xxxx
