My beautiful daughter has gone

Pippa passed away in the early hours of this morning after a viral infection led to blood poisoning, she was 3 years old. Her and her big brother were so excited as 10 days ago I had a baby. I am so utterly lost and heartbroken.

I don't know what to say.

Slightly different but we lost a newborn last year. All I can say about the early days and from my different perspective is take each moment as it comes. I am sending you so much love right now.

If at any stage you feel you would like to talk to some other bereaved mums, there is a thread here called "walking together on a journey", we have lost children from all ages, but can be a listening ear whenever you need us.

Cathpip I am so very sorry to hear about your beautiful daughter. Thank you for sharing her with us. My eldest son died 6 weeks ago - I am with you in your anguish and pain. On top of your grief you have the miracle of a new born baby to care for. Such joy and such pain intertwined.

It is senseless, there are no reasons, it is just so utterly unfair and devastating. My thoughts are with you and your family. Xx
