My beautiful son

After nearly two and a half years of a fight with cancer my beautiful 18 year old son passed away this morning at 11:20 am.

I am humbled by his strength and humour that he has shown throughout his short life.

Oh my lovely Min. My heart aches for you. There simply aren't words to describe how sorry I am.

It's has been an absolute privilege to get to 'know' Will a little through our thread. You must be so incredibly proud of him. Such a wonderful boy deserves the best mum and he has that in you. Your love for him shines through in every word you write. I know nothing can bring any comfort at the moment, but Will knew every second how much he was loved.

Min, I'm so very sorry.

We lit what my dc call "Aillidh's candle" tonight -we're good friends of expat and she was here when Aillidh died.

Your son sounds so awesome. I'm very glad you gave us all the chance to get to know him.
