My beautiful son

After nearly two and a half years of a fight with cancer my beautiful 18 year old son passed away this morning at 11:20 am.

I am humbled by his strength and humour that he has shown throughout his short life.

It would never be enough time to prepare. How could anyone prepare for the death of a child? I know I would want it to be me instead.

The CCF playing the Last Post is both beautiful and heartbreaking.

I'm so sorry Min, I've followed Wills story and am so sad for the outcome. I'm sat watching my two young boys playing, with tears in my eyes. I hope you can continue to stay strong. The lamp story is lovely. Xx

How moving about the lobster and the last post somehow being brought together like this. Will must have had a lot of character. Take care of yourself.

I'm so sorry Min. I have followed your threads and admired you, Will and your family from afar.

He was an amazing lad, resting now in peace but leaving a huge void for those left behind.

Breath in, then breath out for now. Don't have any expectations of the next few hours, days, weeks, months.......

We'll all help in anyway that we can.

I read your story and wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of will.

Have lurked a bit but have thought of you often and wondered how you are.

I am very sorry.

I suppose all you can do are mundane things until eventually some of the light starts to drift back into your life.

I feel real horror at what you have been through and wish so much for you to begin to heal and recover but I am sure it will take a while.

I will continue thinking of you and hoping you slowly, gradually begin to come back to life yourself while still managing to honour your lovely child.

Oh min you've been so wonderfully strong. Completely giving your whole being to looking after Will. Life, once more, has changed dreadfully. As others have said, breathe in and breathe out, take each day, hour, minute as it comes. Have no expectations. We are all for you here for you darling Min. You are in my thoughts often.
