OMG my Mum just got her results - so delighted to say she has a polyps (sp???) and a hiatus hernia - NOT cancer like she most definitely thought she had. My Dad just rang to tell me and he is as drunk as a skunk LOL - he said he talks to Gareth and Matty every day and that he loves me......love my Dad when he has had a few hundred too many!!!

frasersmummy · 04/04/2011 20:59

Brill news Shabs,

good morning,

Sorry to see so many new faces on here. I am still trying to catch up a bit but feel drawn to here on B's birthday and remember day. So difficult having it on the same day as mothers day and trying to be brave for G. Had a moment but got through okay.

Cheers ladies for all your support even though I lurk more than post these days.

aww charley what a lot to cope with in one day .. well done on getting through with just one moment

We are now on the run up to Frasers remember day and b/day and I decided to hide from it. Took Ross to our local softplay..we had won a free pass at xmas and never used it . 2 hours of sitting in a comfy chair with my book while he ran around for free.
Then we had lunch and went ice skating .. it was fab fun .

Of course just when you think you have survived the day unscathed .......

My phone rings and I find my mum is back in hospital..,.... arrggh!!

why is life so bloody hard

peterpansmum · 05/04/2011 21:30

rant whinge moan alert... Away with dh and ds1 for first break since dhs transplant and he has just spent the last few hours being violently sick. He is worried all is not good with transplant. Ive emailed his consultant. First holiday in 13 years without dialysis... Would it b too much to ask to just have a relaxing, noneventful family break. I am hoping its just something he has eaten and all will be well tomorrow but have that horrible sinking feeling that its gonna be a long long night. Am feeling worried. Think we have had more than our fair share of shit in the last wee while.... Sorry for moaning xxx

shabbapinkfrog · 05/04/2011 21:42

You moan as much as you want. Everybody in my family (except me) has had an awful bug over these last few weeks - violently sick, very snotty etc etc. Hope everything is OK very soon xxxx

kazmus · 05/04/2011 21:49

PPM everythingcrossed for a simple solution, such a worry for you, thinking of you.x

peterpansmum · 05/04/2011 22:06

his lovely renal consultant just called me to try n stop us worrying! She is amazing and an incredible example of the good stuff within the nhs. She didnt seem too concerned but knew we would both be worrying. Gotta take him to hosp if no bettr by the morning. Fingers crossed its just something he has eaten or a horrid sick bug. i could really cope with a boring few days right now! Thank u for listening ladies xx

lottiejenkins · 05/04/2011 22:09
