Can yours say 'banana'?!

I give up with my 2 on this word. We have 'bana' from my 4 year old and 'na-na' from my 20month old. Is this a tough word or something?!

we have banananan (2.5 y o)

DD (13 months) has been saying nana since she was about 9mo old. It applies to all fruit though, whether banana or not.

the only other fuit in my house aparently is apples. eveything excpet a banana is an apple

ds (18 months) says bananananana.
It is also his word for belly button for some reason

They're called 'No' in this house . DD used to love them, but just recently has gone off them and says No if they're anywhere in her vicinity.

Yes I had to report myself to MNHQ which was rather surreal I came in and I have my details on log on at all times thingy and my 17YO twat of a brother was on computer whilst friend was on his own laptop under anoither name cant remember what but havent spoke to him since! Sorry if anything was said to you I did explain but no one seemed to believe me which is fair enough but I am making a point of not chaning my name as people keep telling me to do as that surely proves I am not lying.

my ds 1 was well into thomas the tank engine but would say 'the f*cking-troller' for the fat controller.
I was mortified at the time but it makes me laugh now.

My DS (18 mo) calls a banana, "Bgger!"
Its very funny but very embarrassing! Especially when he gets excited about having/seeing one and starts shouting it over and over again. "bgger, bgger, bgger!"

he also couldn't say swimming but loved it - it would be 'i want to go minging! Minging, mummy!)

Slowdown - DD speaks very well for her age but bananas are just beyond her

Dd (3) calls it a mana in english and maan in swedish (it's banan in swedish really).

babanana until recently - now says it proper; how I miss the old days! (Also babaloons for balloons, but no more...)

Hey Sassafrass, how does your DD cope with ananas?

Banaaas for DD gae 21 months- with much shouting and vigorous pointing after just about every meal. I swear she's going to turn into one some day
