DD has a friend called Ton!

Before we went on holiday he had a loads of other friends as well, the names of who i can't recall.

But now it's Ton and all her cousins who she's just met for the first time.

Tried to think if it's a sound-a-like to anyone, but can't think of one.

Ds1 has just made an imaginary friend called Luther. No idea where that came from!

GreatAuntieWurly · 13/09/2007 18:14

will come back later and tell the names of my imaginary friends (obviously from when I was younger) but I had 3.

DD1's were Sulia Julia and ...wait for it...Meeta Hooli Meetlock.

I wish they were real.

Some times, after too much wine, they are.....

DD2 called hers Granny Moses, and she hated her, go figure.

dd4 has an imaginary friend (little girl apparently) called Brewster...

She used to have a Lucy but she was unceremoniously dumped when Brewster 'appeared'.

DD1 has imaginary children called Emily and Mia. Sometimes they are babies and sometimes they are teenagers. They are very versatile.

Ds had Tom Stocky Pie who had purple hair and a green jumper, and lived over the fence on the building site.

DD had 'my family' who were assorted invisible babies that lived in our utility room.

Von, and Ghia

they used to play together but then Von was tragically eaten by a giant pig

now he lives in the toilet and eats ds's poos. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.

ds (3) has an imaginary friend (a superhero) called Donna and if you give him a doll or soft toy he will usually name them Donna (occasionally Dinny) - so we have a lot of toys called Donna now

No idea where the name comes from but ds is generaly unconcerned about making up words when he can't remember the real words to use. I have also been known to make up song lyrics through poor recall/ hearing so I am not surprised

cluelessnchaos · 13/09/2007 19:21

shatteredmumsrus · 13/09/2007 19:22

MummRa · 13/09/2007 19:43

I hope my dd has one when she's older. I did and he was called Tuggan. He lived in the lock of the door.
My brother had two called Language and Tilly.

BellaBear · 13/09/2007 19:47

My sister drowned my imaginary friends. I was devastated.

ConfusedOhConfused · 13/09/2007 20:18

DS1 had 2 squirrels called Emily and Mouseling. They went everywhere, lived in a basket at the end of his bed, I even had to hold them whilst he got out of the car.

He accused me once of only giving him Emily back and somehow I had retained Mouseling

Next thing he has a cat called Miaow Miaow and when I mentioned that the cat may chase Emily and Mouseling he informed me that they were dead apparently a car hit them (must play down hysteria over crossing the road -his friend runs out into the road and I didn't want him copying him)

jellybrain · 13/09/2007 22:25

Ds2gave his the same name he has but, prefixed with 'My Ghost Friend X' Ghost friend was very badly behaved and caused all sorts of mischief that Ds wouldn't have dreamed of

Beauregard · 13/09/2007 22:27

When dd1 had imaginary friends they were called Lissa and Norma (Norma was a boy though)

Tommy · 13/09/2007 22:27

DS1's is called Honey.

Now you come to mention it, we haven't heard much from Honey recently - wonder where he's gone?!

IndulgeMePlease · 13/09/2007 22:27

My little sister's used to be called 'Muggle'- circa 1994, pre- JK Rowling I might add!!
