What size feet does your 2yo have?

Just curious, no other reason really. Jut wondering wha is an average show size for a 2 year old.

I am quite short and have little feet, but I don't think DD is goign tot take after me in that sense. I know that both me and brother had small feet and my brother started school ins omething like a size 3.5 or 4!

DD is 2y 4m and she is a size 7F (measured by Clarks this week).

ds3 is 18 months asn he is a 6
mind you dh is a 12

bundle · 01/09/2004 12:22

dd1 is now 4 and takes a 10.5 G, so that sounds about average to me

smellymelly · 01/09/2004 12:29

My dd is 2 this month, and has size 6f. Ex-p had size 13 feet though. To be honest I thought she was on the large size!

blueteddy · 01/09/2004 12:29

That sounds average 2 me too.
My has very small feet (although he is overly short) & at around the same age he was a size 6.
However he is now nearly 5 & has only just gone into a size 9!

Northerner · 01/09/2004 12:30

Well Hula my ds is the exact same age as your dd and he is currently wearing a 6, but he is due some new ones soon ..........

blueteddy · 01/09/2004 12:30

It is supposed 2 say my ds. Dony know what happened there!

Piffleoffagus · 01/09/2004 12:30

dd is 22 mths and has only just sz 3 feet TINY
On other hand I have ds's old shoes as we are unpacking for the house move this w/e and his little Doc Marten boots from when he was 2 are a huge size 9.5!!!
Given now he is age 10 and his feet are a 6....
His first shoes at age 11 mths were a baby 6...

codswallop · 01/09/2004 12:31

blossom2 · 01/09/2004 12:32

DD is 2.5 years and is 7.5(25 european)... we need to keep changing her shoes every couple of months ...

CountessDracula · 01/09/2004 13:02

DD is 2 on Saturday :O and she is 6.5 or 23. Hula she has grown out of all those shoes I got from you :( Good news is that she now fits into the black patent DMs that dh bought for her first xmas when she was 3 months!!

muddaofsuburbia · 01/09/2004 13:05

Ds is 2 next Wednesday and is a 7F.

coppertop · 01/09/2004 13:16

Ds2 is 19 months old and has size 6 shoes.

Tommy · 01/09/2004 13:16

DS2 - 2y8m - size 8.5 G - Huge but that will teach me to marry a man with big feet

Tommy · 01/09/2004 13:17

meant DS1 actually. DS2 is a 3.5 and doesn't wear shoes but that is 2 sizes smaller than DS1 was at the same age (12m)

florenceuk · 01/09/2004 14:11

DS is 2yr9mths, and he is a 6F in Startrite.

zaphod · 01/09/2004 14:14

Ds is 2 and 5 months and has size 9 feet. I know this is huge because my 8 year old has size 13. And my dh is only size8.

Mum2Ela · 01/09/2004 14:16

Countessdracula - snap! DD is 2 on Friday and is in a 6.5.

PandaBear · 01/09/2004 14:19

My DD is 2 and 3 months and has a size 6 G. She's also really tall, so I guess she'll take after me... I'm 6ft but only have size 7s.

xoz · 01/09/2004 14:40

My dd2 is 2 at the end of Sept and is still in size 4!!! I thought she had small feet... she's been in size 4 since January!

Hulababy · 01/09/2004 15:13

coddy - no house news yet; going to see a couple tonight. Apartment has had some viewings but no offers yet :(

How often do you all have to change shoes for your DS/DDs?

We are always advised to have DD's feet checked every 6 weeks but in reality it is every 2 or 3 months, when I remember. But she doesn't seemt o outgrow shoes that regularly - rather, all of a sudden she just jumps a full size.

Her first pair of shoes were a size 2.5 when she was 11 months (and walking properly and outside, honest)!

Last bought dd shoes (sandals) in May. She was 3 last week and is a 22/approx 5.5-6. Her 6e Doodles bought at Easter are still a little too big too. Reality is that she gets new shoes for the changing seasons rather than if her feet grow as she has only gone up from a 21 in almost year. ds,6, is similar in that he only goes up a size a year now and is still only a 29/11. Some of his friends are in 35's already.

pepsi · 01/09/2004 16:08

dd is 2yrs 5mth and when she was measured 2 at the beginning of June she was 7G. My little boy wasnt a size 7 until he was 3.

Gingerbear · 01/09/2004 16:24

DD is 6.5F (Clarks) Is it half a size bigger in other makes? (I can never remember.)

Gingerbear · 01/09/2004 16:27

LOL, we had lost DD's slippers for ages, and found them again recently.

Tried to put them on her last night to wails of 'Tight mummy' Only then did I notice that they were a size 5! Poor child.
