Just curious, no other reason really. Jut wondering wha is an average show size for a 2 year old.

I am quite short and have little feet, but I don't think DD is goign tot take after me in that sense. I know that both me and brother had small feet and my brother started school ins omething like a size 3.5 or 4!

DD is 2y 4m and she is a size 7F (measured by Clarks this week).

Actually, all this reminds me that as DD's feet haeve grown I now have various shoes she is out of. Must get round to giving them a clean, photographing them and posting them on here!

Poor DD currently owns one pair of shoes and a pair of wellies in the right size now! Must go and get her some slippers and pumps.

Dd is 23 months and a 5C, very narrow little feet, makes it very hard to buy anything other than width fitted shoes and wellies are hopeless on her. Her first pair of 'walking' shoes when she was 11 months were a size 4 so really she hasn't grown much at all in this last year. I keep taking her for fittings and coming away with the same shoes!

I WISH!!!
dd was born with size 2.5 feet... now at 22 mths she is just in a 3...
All that spending opportunity missed...

cazzybabs · 01/09/2004 20:16

DD is 2 yrs and 3 months and is a size 5.5F.

Paula71 · 01/09/2004 21:22

At 2 ds twins were a 6f (clarks).

Now they are just starting to fit into a size 8f!They are 2 1/2.

DH is a size 10 so not particularly large feet, just average so I think ds twins will be the same way.

Demented · 01/09/2004 21:53

DS2 is 2y 3m and wears an 8.5G. Hula, the last time I was in Clarks they said that he would probably get about 12 weeks out of his shoes now as his growth rate should be slowing a bit.

paradise · 03/09/2004 14:56

throckenholt · 03/09/2004 14:59

Hi nikola. DD is getting on really well thanks. She has done 2 half days and today a fll day. No problems at all; she has loved it and done loads already. Really happy . Good luck to you and your DD. Let me know how you get on.

Last measurement showed DD to be a 6G, that was around 3 months ago though, so she is likely to be a bigger size. Re-measuring tomorrow. She was 2 on August 8th.

DS who is 3.6 has just got some shoes today (Kids at Clinks at M'hall) and they are 7.5H. This meant that none of the Clarks fitted him (or Timberland or Kickers) so he ended up with the one pair of Startrite that fitted. Don't think he is too impressed with them either. Thats the main reason I take him to Kids at Clinks because struggle to find the pair that fit at other shops. He has my shape of feet (wide and high) but DH's length (he's only a 7, whereas I am a 5 which is fairly average I think).

ChicPea · 04/09/2004 22:04

DD is 2 in 2wks and is a start right 4 D. Was a 4.5 E in a start right summer sandal so don't quite understand that one. Xoz, maybe our dd's are of the same build?

nutcracker · 04/09/2004 22:21

My Ds is 21mths and a size 5

Bumblelion · 08/09/2004 14:19

DD (3 at end of October) wears a size 10.5G but she is also 104 cm tall and wears age 4 clothes.

coddychops · 08/09/2004 14:19

cant beliebve this thread is still going!

Dingle · 09/09/2004 10:26

Just to keep it going even longer....

My dd is expected to be smaller than the average 2-3 year old due to SN, I thought her feet were tiny. She is 3 end of Oct and has just gone into a 6.5G, she wore my son's size 6 timberlands last winter, only thing is he had them for his 1st birthday.
