What age did your dc stop waking up and crying in the night?

I know dc call out in the night for water, toilet, nightmares etc but when did yours stop the 'waking and crying like a baby' business?

10 weeks

amother was that permanent? Is your dc now aged toddler+? If yes, you were very blessed.

Dd1 aged 3.5
DTs aged 4months.

The difference: formula feeding, and when they took less than half a feed in the night I just started to ignore them. Two days later they didn't wake. Could nt do another 3.5 years!! X

just about now 15m due to night weaning dd no longer wakes in the night or if she does she goes back to sleep on her own v quickly

Hmmm, if it makes anyone reading this thread feel better dd's 23 months and still sometimes does this.

dd1 stopped waking routinely at about 7mo
dd2 is 2.8 and still wakes for a good shout most nights, although it's normally before I've gone to bed so could be a lot worse

My DS1 still is, and he's 3 in September

DS slept through occasionally from 2yo but only slept through reliably from 4yo. No wonder it took me 16 years to have another baby! DD now 8 months and usually wakes twice

About 4.5yo, after starting school and being too tired to wake in the nights any more!

dts still do it and they are 3 . Lots of my friends dc do the same.

DS1 was 6 weeks, now 7 years old.

DS2 was 9 weeks, now 10weeks 4days so we shall see how this goes.

DD1 was 14 weeks, now 8 years old.

DD2 was 12months old and is now 6 years old. She had a very traumatic first 11months though as she was removed at birth from her mother and placed in care. She came to us at 11months and it took us 3-4 weeks to settle her.

DS at 14 months when I nightweaned him.
DD is now 11 months and sleeps through about 50% of the time.

DS stopped waking up in the night around 8 months old.

Dd1 was close to age 3. She now sleeps 12 hours a night.DD2 still does it at 15 months. They grow out of it, they wont be doing it at 18.

DD1 was 7 months
DD2 was 5.5 months

3 and 4 months here too, coinciding with end of bf and like queen marigold, I also developed selective hearing.

Still does it at 15 months.

Well my dd (4 in September) was wailing like a baby last night. It's getting much less common but still happens occasionally.

Both mine woke up most nights until they went to school, it was hard work at the time, but they are now early teens and its like a distant memory!

2.5 years for my DTs

My ds is nearly 16mo and has only just started sleeping through over the past 5-6 weeks, waking up about 40% of the time. But any illness or other change such as a heat wave will throw it off track for a few weeks.
