Teeth! When did the first come through?

Hi, Thought it would be interesting to find out how old your LO's were when they got their first tooth?
my dd is 7 month still no sign of a tooth!

ouch, timely, my thumb is being chewed by nearly 9 month old ds, two bottom ones just come through - been swelling dribbling etc for about 4 months too.

Both bottom teeth came through at bang on 6 months, both bottom teeth a week later.

DS got one bottom tooth at 9 months, and still had just the one until just after his first birthday. Now he suddenly has a gobful (at least 11)

My dd started getting her bottom 2 at 11 months. Her top 2 are just starting to come through and she is nearly 16 months.

Mind you I still had milk teeth at 14 and had to get them pulled out by the dentist as the adult teeth were coming out as well. I must have weird genes!

DS got his first at 15 months, and still at nearly two has only 5!

My Ds got his first tooth at 8 months. had 8 teeth by a year old but then slowed down a bit - only got his last tooth through last week and he's 3 now. Knew a woman from mother and toddlers who had a 2 year old who had no teeth yet - she was beside herself.

DD was 13 months when her first tooth arrived.

at 18 weeks my ds's TOP tooth broke the skin!

It still hasn't descended any further, but can be seen (and felt) if you look in his mouth.

wow, there's such variation isn't there!
got a question, how long does it take from when the tooth starts to come through for it fully come through? or does that vary widely as well? {smile]

5 months for dd, about 7 months for ds. Not nice for breastfeeding.

DS1 - 9 months DS2 - 7 months, but a friends little boy didnt have any teeth until 14 months!

About 16 weeks for both ds and dd.
The colic stopped, the teething started...oh happy days

oh and DS2 got his top 'fangs' before his front teeth - just in time for halloween too. he looked pretty weird for a while especially when he smiled - terrifying!!!

dd was 10mths when first one came through
ds is 7.5mths and no sign of any yet for him

A week before 6 months for #1; #2 came in about 2 weeks later.
