Teeth! When did the first come through?

Hi, Thought it would be interesting to find out how old your LO's were when they got their first tooth?
my dd is 7 month still no sign of a tooth!

First bottom tooth came about 4.5 months, second around a month later. Still waiting for more (ds 8 mo)

DS got 2 at 4 months. Is now 10 months and has 9, razor sharp they are too!

ds-4 months
dd is 6.5 months and still no teeth! Glad its not just her!

My dd had her first tooth at 3 months and ten by eight months!! It was a nightmare but overwith quickly.

DS got his first tooth at 9 months. At 19 months he still only had 6 and then in the space of 3 months he got 10 teeth .. it was awful! Got his last 4 at 2.5 yrs
DD got her first tooth at 10 months and her teething was a little more spaced out ... had 16 by 18 months. The last 4 yet to come (she is 2 in a couple of weeks)

Has anyone heard the theory that if you were a late teether you will lose your milk teeth later?

DS has just turned 6 and most of his class have started having wobbly teeth and have gaps but his milk teeth are still there with no signs of wobbles ... not that I am worried or anything, I want him to keep his baby teeth for as long as possible!

DD who is 15 months old now - her first ones came thru at 6 mths and now they are all thru, just 6 of the back teeth tips are coming thru!

My kids all about 5 months ish. My nephew had his first tooth at 8 weeks!

My DDs didn't get any teeth until 12 months. They are now 5&6 with a full compliment, and no sign of loosing any at all
I got mine late, and still had 2 baby teeth at 16.

DS has first one up at 13 months and in a matter of the week has another 3 appear. Top 2 and top bottom.

Nothing since, now 16 months.

Fist two at 4 months (the same week as teething stopped, just like yours Clayhead!)

Now she's nearly 14 months and has teeth number 13,14,15 and 16 all cutting through at once. Apparently 16 teeth at 14 months is a lot according to my dentist! Don't I know it.... all those sleepless nights!

But Littlefish, with any luck she'll be done and dusted before she's 2 (mine were) and then you can be all smug and over that stage!!

Littlefish, she sounds like mine...molars and canines came through at the same time, ugh! But she's just 2, and almost done - the last top molars are just coming through.

My nephew, on the other hand, didn't get any till 13 months and has at least four more to come - he's 2.3.

8 months for the first tooth, 9 months for the second.
Ds is now 1 and has 2 at the bottom, 2 at the top, and now 2 more popping through.

The best bit is - had no problems yet, he doesnt bat an eye lid! (touch wood)

DD1 15 weeks and had every tooth in her head by the age of 10 months (it was a hell-on-earth 6 months) and is only just 5 and has lost 2 baby teeth already.

DD2, about 5 months and took her aaaaggggeeeeesss
before she had the lot.

Bad mum alert. DS2 is 8 months and has 6. I know that. I know that they have come through at some point in the last 8 months, but I really cannot remember when!

My DD had her 2 bottom teeth come through when she was 5.5 months old. She has now got a top fang coming through at nearly 7 months.

My DD1 was 19 months before her 1st tooth appeared - Bless!! We had a little party we it finally arrived!! She is 2 now and has 12 - plenty more to go - Ouch!! DD2 seems to following in the same footsteps - 8 months and sign of any little pegs yet!!

I have just read through this thread and my DD1 is officially a freak- Surely there must be someone else who has a child who got teeth as late as her!!!!!!!!!?

My dd got her first two at 9 months. She's nearly 3 (in 2 months) and her final back molar is partly through. They came through in groups - about 8 at once during her second year, I think, although it didn't put her off her healthy appetite.

It's about the same as me and the rest of my family, according to my mum - the growth pattern is genetic.
