Dh was talking about Enid last night.
It was very high on the list for dd and ds, but i had completely forgotten about it.
It seems to fit the plain, simple elegantness of the Jean and Mary type names.
I might be loving it again.

It may come back into style with all the 'E' names about at the moment (Ella, Ellie, Elsie), and I must say I could never use a name that is as popular as Ellie
