I love Kitty Ellen or Hermione Ellen for a girl and either Arlo William, Kit William or Monty William for a boy....

I'm ready for feedback, don't be shy!!!

Well I don't find any of them offensive, am sure my dh would have vetoed all of them but if you want them and your dp/h is in agreement then go for it, it is your choice after all

Kit William is already a famous person... so unless you're a particularly big fan of his that's probably a 'no'...

Kitty I'm also not keen on - the 'hello kitty' cartoon character annoys me for some reason. And Hermione is SO Harry Potter....

I know one other recent Arlo but I think Natasha Kaplinsky also called her son Arlo...

I do like Ellen and William though!!!

girls names are nice, i like william but none of the other boys' names. who cares though, pick what you like

I know there's a famous Christopher 'Kit' Williams - but he's an ancient artist, so not worried about that.

I am worried about the spelling of Hermione too - no one gets how you say it normally. I guess it is a bit Harry Potter, but I have always loved it!

I really like Hermione. Kitty is okay for a nn, but needs a more formal name.

I hate Kitty.It makes me think of a stripper.

Thanks Eglu - that's the prob with Kit (nn for Christopher) and Kitty (nn for Katherine)... But I hate Chrsitopher and Katherine!!!!

DD2 was almost Katya (nn Kitty) as DH refused Kitty as a 'real' name.

Sorry but I don't like Kitty as it is both a nickname and a generic cat's name.

I love them all! Kitty was my girls name for DC3 who was a boy. Arlo and Monty (and many more) were sadly vetoed. He ended up as Felix.

Oh I don't know... It's such a tough decision naming a child!

I just yawn at all the Milly's, Amelie's, Grace's, Isabella's and Emily's and the Finn's, Jack's Harry's, Ben's and Joshua's - they are do 'done' .. I want something that is different and classy but not weird.. My surname is VERY boring, so I can use a bit of imagination with the first names...

I see what you mean. I really don't like Katherine either, but think Kitty is lovely.

Suwoo - I LOVE Felix... I obviously like the cat thing! I also like Tabitha for a while - also feline!

Amarilis, he was to be Felix Arthur until a friend pointed out that it was two brands of cat food so we went for the boring Oscar as his middle name.

My bloody mum has just called her new cat Kitty so that rules that out for the dreamed of not going to happen DC4.

I have a cousin called Kate - nn Kitty. Do you like Kate better than Katherine?
