First DS after 3DDs, with 5 weeks to go we have finally narrowed it down to 3 names.

Matthew
Marcus

Surname is short one syllable and begins with R.

We have four weeks to go and are back to the drawing board for our DC4, so I'm impressed you have a shortlist!!

My favourite is Marcus (I was at prep school with a gorgeous one so I've always had a soft spot for this name).

Matthew - as you say, a bit middle of the road, but is a good, safe name.

Elliot - I know two under 2 - it's not a name I would choose because I think that DD having an Ellis (a girl) in her class has made me think of "Ell..." sounding names more as a 'feminine' boys name - having said that, it does suit the two I know very well.

Like Matthew best from your list, then Elliot. Biased against Marcus as the only ones I've known were little terrors!

Matthew! It's a great name. Not keen on Marcus.

I like Elliott but much prefer Emmett.

I like all of them. Have you checked the initials and anagrams? It sounds obvious but my cousin ended up with the initials ARS as her parents didn't check this!!

eg. If you go for a middle name also beginning with R you'll have MMR - not great.

Of course I have checked middle names lol am actually sorted for his middle names it's the first one that is giving us the bother.
