How about this one?

I'm sorry, I really dislike this name. For some reason it reminds me of verruca (sp?) - it's just not aesthetically pleasing from my point of view.

I think it's a beautiful name - it was my Nan's name

Veronica slept with my boyfriend when I was 17. Ok, we'd split up...but still....!

It's a beautiful, classic name and Ronnie is a great girls name if you wanted to update it a wee bit.

oh I completely understand, by the time we were trying to name DD3 I couldn't find anything I loved enough - yet weeks after I could have told you 4/5 names I adore

I really like it, and had both this and Roxanne on my list, but dh liked neither, and then Ronnie and Roxy appeared in Eastenders .

Hmm, I too tend to think of Verrucas a bit. But knew a 'Vron' when I was a child and she was very nice. Or you could get all continental and go for Veronique. (or is that a bit porn star? no maybe, stick to Veronica)

The only Veronica I know is a very beautiful Czech girl. Unfortunately she's also an evil bitch.

Sorry but I'm with allie on this one, I find it incrediably ugly sorry!! I always imagine whether I myself would like to be named the name, and I would really hate this one. Vera is awful too.. But what about Vivienne, now that I love! :)
