i also like scarlett, and hadnt read your thread properly

Mamadoodle · 08/03/2010 23:43

Thanks for your help I like Daisy and Beatrice (Bea) though DH not keen and think Daisy and Thea go well together (is it prounounced Tea-ah or Thee-ah?

Only problem with Florence is the nn Flo or Floss really wanting a pretty classic sounding name.

Not sure if Scarlett looks like a copy of Scarlett Johanssen? Had thought about Charlotte instead but so popular and not in love with Charlie as a nn

DD age 3 wants Heidi for a baby sister but trying to stick to Hebrew/English names as these are our names, mine's Eva.

So hard to narrow it down and driving myself crazy as spending hrs a day on the internet searching for the perfect combo :-)

Love to hear any more ideas!

A friend has a Daisy and a Jess(ica) which goes well I think.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 09/03/2010 09:59

I love Charlotte. If you're not keen on Charlie how about Lottie as a NN?

charley24 · 09/03/2010 15:46

The year my DD2 was born 'Chloe' had just dropped down in the list of top names (was no 1 for 6 years if memory serves)

DD1 (Sophie) was 4.5 and wanted to call the new baby Chloe (I wasn't keen) but we decided it was a special thing for her to do and so DD2 became Chloe. Now they are 10 and 5 and Sophie will often tell people she named her little sister.

(If I had my way they would have been Daisy and Poppy)....Anyways I think Daisy and Heidi sounds wonderful (I am biased as if I'd had another Heidi was my next name, then DSis had her 2nd I said why not Heidi and she suits her name so much)

So I agree with your Daisy - Heidi sounds lovely !

Bessie123 · 09/03/2010 15:53

Just came on here to say that I have a dd called Daisy and I have already bagsied Florence and Ivy to go with it so steer clear pls

mathanxiety · 09/03/2010 19:19

Zoe
Sophie
Lucy
Eliza

I don't like Scarlett at all, and I think Florence is too floral beside Daisy.

AllieW · 09/03/2010 20:24

Daisy and Charmaine
Daisy and Cordelia
Daisy and Elysia
Daisy and Emmanuelle (I reckon only our generation or older will associate with the film)
Daisy and Hermione (if you can shake the HP connection)
Daisy and Miriam
Daisy and Shirley
Daisy and Shona
Daisy and Therese

Rolf · 09/03/2010 20:39

Florence is lovely. But like you, I'm not keen on Flo or Flossie.
Scarlett is lovey too.
Thea (I have one!). Lockets I always see you on "Thea" threads .
Beatrice is a beautiful name

MajorMajor · 09/03/2010 20:59

Daisy and Miranda

Mamadoodle · 09/03/2010 21:15

So many great suggestions on here thanks latest list (in no particular order) is

Daisy and Scarlett
Daisy and Thea
Daisy and Heidi
Daisy and Phoebe
Daisy and Beatrice (nn Bea)
Daisy and Florence (sorry Bessie 123 )
Daisy and Charlotte (nn Lottie!)

Thanks Charlie 24 loved your story so keeping Heidi in there! Decisions decisions! I think it was easier the first time and if a boy I'd find it much easier.

Daisy is a Daisy Sophia...What do you think of Clementine is this trying too hard to be different??! Maybe it could work as a middle name is a bit of a mouthful with 3 syllable last name!

Daisy is a Daisy Sophia

My favourites from your list are Florence and Charlotte.

Merrylegs · 09/03/2010 21:19

I have a Daisy and if she were ever to have a sister (unlikely as she has two older brothers, much to her disgust!) I would choose Clementine, Astrid or Tallulah (nn Lulu)

posey · 09/03/2010 21:20

I know a Daisy and Martha. which I think go very well together (and they're lovely girls!)

Mamadoodle · 09/03/2010 23:22

Baby sister Martha sounds lovely to me and DH likes it too which is an even bigger surprise Its on the shortlist!

Now just need to pick 2 names from the list above that go well together to give a first and middle name! Help!!...
