Here's some combinations I'm pondering on; any opinions would be great. I'm into multiple middle names, as you can see...

Boy Combos:

Atticus Farrow Artan Remus
Atticus Larkin Aubrey More
Atticus Farrow Artan Boone
Atticus Aubrey Larkin Boone/More.

Girl Combos:
Evelyn Rose Pommeline ("Pommaleen") Noelle
Evelyn Violet Pommeline Noelle.

Thoughts?

Pommeline? You must be joking.

Haven't read the whole thread, but I think you names sound fab, Atticus is wonderful . Who cares how many middle names as they rarely get used, but do give them lots of naming options. My DCs both have 2 middle names. And absolutely go with names you love.

My preference is your first boys name and last girls name.

How boring would the world be if we all stuck to run of the mill names.

Allie - Err, not for me, thanks.

Feirabend - 153 replies in and I think we've established that I'm deadly serious. It's Pomeline now, anyway.

Lionstar - Thanks for your support But I've changed the names considerably now due to the "WTF" onslaught.

I have only ever heard Lorien pronounced Loh-rien (with a short o, not a long one as in Homer Simpson saying Doh) but I have no idea if that's right or not.

meadowlarks · 24/02/2010 14:52

Hmm. I like. Atticus Aubrey Caleb Lorien?

I prefer Atticus Aubrey Lorien Caleb, but I am not sure where the emphasis falls in Caleb. It is still far too many words/syllables for me btw but I am a huge fan of daft middle names

aarghhelp · 24/02/2010 20:34

You could perhaps try Alouette as an unusual female name...

meadowlarks · 25/02/2010 18:51

Dita - Fair enough. Caleb has emphasis on both syllables, that's why I thought it sounded better at the end. I'm still not sure about Lorien, it reminds me of Lauren for some reason. I think I prefer Theoden.

aarghhelp - Cheers but I don't particularly like it, it sounds like it's from "Frere Jacque".
