My DH & I are thinking of Eliabella Rose Taylor but have had a bad reaction from the only other person I've told so have started to wonder about it. I know it's rather unusual...

It's crap.

woowa · 23/12/2009 15:19

i like it!

nappyaddict · 28/12/2009 12:51

Sounds made up to me

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 28/12/2009 12:55

sounds rather like my BF's nickname for her DD (who is called Ella ) "ellabella".

Sounds made up/nicknamey to me

malovitt · 28/12/2009 13:00

Eleanor is nice but Rose as a middle name is really too widespread for my liking. All the little girls round here seem to be called ' something - Rose.'

zozzle · 02/01/2010 22:51

sounds like a cross between Elizabeth and Isabella!

JaneiteIsTrite · 02/01/2010 22:53

Sorry but I think it's terrible. Bella is lovely. Elinor is even more lovely. Ellie is fine. Combined they just sound daft.

dizzycringles · 02/01/2010 23:11

wouldn't be my choice either

DD1 is Ella and I love the way my spanish family pronounce it - Ellia Elle-EE-A if that makes sense?

ChippingIn · 03/01/2010 03:50

So, what did you call her then?? LOL of course presuming you have made a decision and you're not still calling her 'baby'!

MojoLost · 03/01/2010 05:23

sounds like a tongue twister

Holmesr2 · 03/01/2010 18:58

Sounds like two names mashed together in an attempt to get a unique name. Don't think it works, sorry... Setting your child up for a lifetime of 'sorry what did you say your name was again....', not that I'm into plain names but think that's just a tad ott.

CDMforever · 03/01/2010 21:15

Mmm... Our DD is an Arabella, often shortened to Bella. 4 syllable names are lovely but quite time consuming. That said DD's most used name is Bella-Booly which is also 4 syllables??!

MamaLazarou · 04/01/2010 09:15

"Sorry but it sounds like someone farting in the bath."

This made me laugh so much I thought I was going to go into labour.

piscesmoon · 04/01/2010 09:21

Elizabeth is a lovely name and so is Isabella-why make one up?
