i really like it. had it on my list for all 3 boys, but haven't used it yet. big Dylan Thomas fan myself though

It is a lovely name. Not chavvy at all.

It will probably date though but not in a Kevin:Jayden type way.

Great name. Did you know it's pronounced differently in Wales? More like Dulen. Thought you might like to know.

Thanks, my other choices are Caiden and Dexter. Do you ladies think Dylan is the best one.

really don't like Caiden. i am not sure why, but i don't like any of those names like Brayden/Kayden/Theydon

Yes it's the best of the three in my opinion.

Caiden IS the C word and will date like Kevin and Dexter is a surname-come-trendy-celeby-name.

caiden is pretty awful imo. Dexter is cool. Dylan is fine but v popular

I prefer Dexter. I heard that name a few weeks after having ds3, and so wished we had called him that now (He isn't Dylan btw)

I love it. We might have used it (DH and I both Welsh) but our surname begins with a 'D' so we thought it would sound odd!

Ive have just done a test and started the same ish thread on netmums, they love caiden and hate dylan and dexter Got to forget Caiden for def

Dylan is lovely and popular - there are 2 in my DS class so they are known as Dylan X and Dylan Y.

Dexter is brill - really like that alot.

I like Dylan - it's one of the better popular names at the moment, IMO. It's quite a 'cool' name.

I know a gorgeous Dylan: he is 5 and has fabulous hair and cool dress sense and everyone loves him.

Dexter is also nice, and I like the nickname Dex.

Really dislike Caiden, though, I am afraid. There's nothing nice about it.

My 7 yo stepdon has Dylan as a middle name and I love it. Do it! Classy, celtic and cool.
