They were
Martha Troy
Bethany Miranda
Anita Carmen (that one was his choice, he fancied Carmen Electra)
and
Joseph Alexander

Found a notebook with them in at my mum's house the other day

I was massively into the Lord of the Rings when I was about 16/17. Then the films came out and my obsession grew. Didnt have a boyfriend but decided I would have 4 children:
Billy and Dominic--named after their fathers

And Poppy and Daisy.

Well, I didnt end up with either Billy Boyd or Dominic Monaghan, and Jamie and Jools Oliver stole my girls names so DD has a very different and beautiful name I would never have thought of back then!

Buda · 03/10/2009 12:45

I really like Bethany dog.

Ledodgy - I used to work for a guy called Adam Adams!

PfftTheMagicDragon · 03/10/2009 12:47

When I was 18 I was in LOVE with the saddo indie band Marion and decided that I would name my son Marion in homage. I was very sure that I would do this! Honestly! I look back now and wonder what I was on.....

Ledodgy · 03/10/2009 12:57

Lol Buda maybe I ould have got away with it then but my first born is a girl who we named Eve .....

Much nicer Ledodgy. I don't think Adam would have suited your DD!

TitsalinaBumsquash · 03/10/2009 13:20

I have stuck with my girls choice since i was tiny which is Phoebe Delilah. I always wanted to call a boy Corey but DP doesn't like it.

susiey · 03/10/2009 17:46

i was going to call my children normal names

Rebecca Abigail
Joshua

ended up calling my children quite unusual names in the end still like the others

my children are called

Annalise Claire
Ezekiel James

about a million miles away from my childhood names

skihorse · 03/10/2009 18:35

I was going to have a

Catherine
James

Very unusual for current times!

LynetteScavo · 03/10/2009 18:38

When I was 16 I was going to have one son, called Rio Arnald.

{hmm]

LaurieFairyCake · 03/10/2009 18:40

at 16 I was going to have a Carlotta (from Enid Blyton books)

I wasn't going to have a boy

BonsoirAnna · 03/10/2009 18:42

Yes, we were going to have an Alexandra.

I ended up with a DSS Alexandre (different partner)!

horrifido · 03/10/2009 18:46

we started dating at 14 we were going to have a Derek and an Evelyn we broke up when we were 18

PurpleEglu · 03/10/2009 18:54

I was going to call mine

Summer or Matthew

Still like Matthew as a name but not my style these days.

Don't like Summer any more, too girly for me. Don't have any DD's anyway.

CravingOlives · 03/10/2009 19:14

I was having Alfie and Annie Rose, as per the Shirley Hughes stories. We have a boy (he's not Alfie though LOL) and are expecting a girl in the next 2w. We STILL can't decide on a name and AR is definitely still on the list.

CravingOlives · 03/10/2009 19:16

Oooh, and a school friend swore she would be calling her first born Tumnus a la 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe'. 10 years on, he's actually called Fred.

dinkystinky · 03/10/2009 19:19

I was going to call my kids Gabriel, Raphael and Asrael - I blame going to a RE school on those name choices... though oddly enough my boys did end up with biblical names (though not quite so old school ones )

whoingodsnameami · 03/10/2009 19:20

I did'nt choose names but always wanted identical twin girls, 11 years after leaving school I got them

hormonstersnomore · 03/10/2009 19:22

My choices (at age 16) were Audrey & Stephen.

Didn't chose names anything like those.

My DD would like to call a girl if she has one, Brier Rose

MrsBadger · 03/10/2009 19:25

I still see it as a symptom of the arrogance of my ex that when we discussed this he insisted on calling the first boy after his father and the second by his own two middle names.

wanker

MrsBadger · 03/10/2009 19:25

I met a Briar Rose the other week...

pooter · 03/10/2009 19:30

One of my friends said that when she was little she was going to have three children called...
Tarzan
Jane
Jesus

How we took the piss.
