heylottie · 09/09/2009 21:25

Each to their own I suppose but I think Nicole Ritchie's new son's name is POSSIBLY one of the worst sleb baby names yet

Are there worse, or am I just being a meanie???

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mazzystartled · 09/09/2009 21:27

I think its kind of ok

No worse that the Apple/Peaches type thing

I know a Wren and a Lark in real life.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/09/2009 21:28

Sparrow? Really? Poor kid. Makes me think Hunter and Hercules aren't all that bad.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/09/2009 21:29

But Mazzy, Sparrow is a bit...weak for a boy. For a girl too, in fact. I can only think it suitable for a spindly-legged chick due never to become a hen.

Chuffinnora · 09/09/2009 21:29

I thought this was going to be a link to her extreme thinness - I didn't notice the catagory.

Has she really called her son Sparrow? Do you have a link?

Tidey · 09/09/2009 21:29

Wren, Robin, Lark are all okay. Sparrow

Just be glad it's not Thrush.

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 09/09/2009 21:31

Sorry but ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

These celebs are CRAZY.

Ondine · 09/09/2009 21:31

It's odd for a boy, well for a girl too. But to be sparrow like is to be frail and tiny. Not a very masculine name....

Were they thinking Captain Jack Sparrow?

rubyslippers · 09/09/2009 21:31

oh - it's bad

but am sure they love it

LynetteScavo · 09/09/2009 21:32

She's had anohter baby?

I thought she only just had a baby!

LynetteScavo · 09/09/2009 21:35

tis true!

mazzystartled · 09/09/2009 21:36

It is better than Harlow

muggglewump · 09/09/2009 21:37

That's bloody terrible!

fishie · 09/09/2009 21:37

nothing wrong with Sparrow

Meglet · 09/09/2009 21:37

Sparrow does sound a bit feeble. I expect he will end up with a cool nickname though.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/09/2009 21:58

So they've had a Harlow and a Sparrow. I suggest next to be named...Marrow.

Louby3000 · 09/09/2009 22:05

Ha, Love the name Marrow!!
Sparrow is such a drippy name for a boy.

pania · 09/09/2009 22:19

Sparrow is just awful. Can't even think of a possible nickname to make it less ridiculous.

Harimosmummy · 09/09/2009 22:22

In 20 years time, it'll be cool.

I hate it, personally, but I can see it catching on.

posieparker · 09/09/2009 22:24

For a boy, terrible for either but a boy

NorbertDentressangle · 09/09/2009 22:24

Hells teeth! Sparrow? Poor boy.

posieparker · 09/09/2009 22:25

On holiday my dss met two little boys from he States called Hunter and Chase. (My DS mistook them for Hunter and Catch).

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 09/09/2009 22:27

Thank goodness I wasn't the only one who didn't know she was pregnant again, Lynette.

Awful name btw. Hope he doesn't grow up with skinny legs.

pania · 09/09/2009 22:29

I think he might well do that, since both parents are quite scrawny. He will hang around at cafes, eating leftovers off people's plates.

Honestly, if they wanted a bird name, couldn't they have called him Eagle or Hawk or Falcon?

Chunkamatic · 09/09/2009 22:57

Maybe she is still on drugs... that is ridiculous.

southeastastra · 09/09/2009 23:00

what a pretentious twat she is
