Valentina/Georgiana/Francesca/Isabella?

I am thinking of girls names and wondered what you all thought of my shortlist?

Do you prefer Valentina, Georgiana, Francesca or Isabella?

Our surname is Bellucci by the way.

Great taste, they are all gorgeous names for a girl. How about Natalia just to throw another one into the mix?

sockmonster, Leni is a really nice nickname, perhaps not one that imediately springs to mind with Valentina but I could see how it could work.

violetismygirl, I do like Natalia but that is my sister in laws name!

I do quite like Anna, but unfortunately that one is taken by me and my sister in law!

Francesca and Isabella are both lovely.

And the two others are fine too.

I love Francesca, and Valentina would also sound fab with your surname I think.

Love love love them. In fact have seriously considered Georgiana for for my next (hypothetical atm) baby but fear it might be a bit too posh.

Gorgeous names, only one I'm not so keen on is Georgiana.

Francesca or Valentina are my favourites. Valentina actually sounds the best with your surname, but I'm also not keen on Val or Tina.

All go really well with your surname.

I wouldn't go for Isabella as it's so common where I live. In DD's ballet class of 8, 4 of them are Isabella.

Normally popular names son't put me off but this is too much as they would forever be called Isabella C, Isabella M and Isabella G.

I live Valentina though and I also like Francesca.

Sophia is gorgeous, too...but might be greek, rather than italian...
Antonia is lovely aswell...
oh, and Chiara...

I know a Valentina-she is called Tina which I am not so keen on.

Love Sophia - sounds very glam. Can't you just see it:

And RetroMum1, 4 Isabellas in a class of 8? Oh dear... this is what I had feared. My DD is Ava, quite original at the time but now there are thousands of them too.

And as for Sophia, that was my original choice but my DH and Mum absolutely hate it. Sigh

The Francesca I know is known as Frantzi, I think that's the prettiest shortening for it.

Oooh I like Gabriella,, not too sure on Gabby though. Bad connotations with a woman named Gabby.

Agree Gabby is ghastly! And we decided against Francesca because I didn't like Frankie.

They are all lovely names but my favourite is Valentina, it's such a beautiful name.
