I love them both.
I have a Jacob and really like OT names!

daisyj · 20/06/2009 22:59

Ooh, my two fave boy's names too. Reubens are strong and charismatic ime, so I'd put that first, but great choices both.

tummytickler · 20/06/2009 23:00

Reuben,Reuben,Reuben,Reuben !
Definately Reuben - I love it but cant use for family reasons!
Isaac is nice, but a bit over done at the moment - i know soooooo many!

Merrylegs · 20/06/2009 23:00

I have an Isaac, so that gets my vote.

What works best with your surname?

bronze · 20/06/2009 23:01

would say Isaac as biased but will say Reuben as I like it too and don't want any more Isaacs around

sleepsforwimps · 20/06/2009 23:04

I agree with bronze I have an Isaac too

cheekster · 20/06/2009 23:05

They both work fine with surname, Im really torn between both names ...

Could use them both I suppose, but then which would be the first / middle name?

I just cant decide

Reuben gets my vote.

Divatheshopaholic · 20/06/2009 23:56

ds could have been Reuben

dizzydixies · 21/06/2009 07:49

both lovely names, wait and see which suits him - we've always had a choice of a couple for each baby and picked when they arrived

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/06/2009 07:51

Reuben my preference, though both are nice.

Jumente · 21/06/2009 07:59

both v nice but Isaac reminds me of eye-sac so I don't think I could

suwoo · 21/06/2009 08:02

I like Reuben best. It is particularly nice for a first boy as it means 'behold, a son'.

shootfromthehip · 21/06/2009 08:06

Reuben here too, anyway IRS is an American Tax Agency is it not?

sweetfall · 21/06/2009 08:23

Isaac gives you Zac for short

Reuben gives you Rubes

I like Isaac best - but the initials IRS are too tax like

I like Reuben too but not as much as Isaac

I was going to call my second child Isaac Saul if she had been a boy

Nighbynight · 21/06/2009 09:01

I loathe both those names. sorry, not much help!

Servalan · 21/06/2009 10:27

Love both

Reuben especially

Firawla · 21/06/2009 11:55

Isaac
