2 wks to go - please rate my shortlist...

I'm now two weeks away from the big day, don't know if it's a boy or girl and haven't given names much thought. Could I get some brutally honest opinions on these to help me cut the list down? The boys list is a bit thin, could do with some ideas...

Girls:
Lois
Iris
Aneka
Penelope (long shot)

Boys:
Monty
Sonny
Ari

Penelope (Penny)

Sonny

I'm not wild about any of the girls names but would choose Iris at a push. Of the boys I really like Ari, I have a Finnish friend calld Ari so have good associations. I like Monty and Sonny too, I disagree that it isn't an adult name...think it works well.

Girls:
Lois - no way too many associations with superman and teri hatcher
Iris - can be nice but probably a middle name
Aneka - yuck
Penelope (long shot)- actually i'd never have thought of this but its OK (nn Penny)

Boys:
Monty - Monty Don?!?
Sonny - far far too american and naff
Ari- Ari what?

I like Alfred (nn alfie or Fred) for a boy
