I know you are all very honset.
I find out tomorrow if I'm pregnant again and I was just thinking about names. (I know this is a tad early).

I like: Amelia (milly)- meaning work of the lord

Tabitha - meaning beauty, grace or gazel

Katherine (Katy) - meaning pure

Ophelia - meaning helper

Talitha (Tally) - Biblical, meaning little girl

Merryn - a Cornish name, meaning unknown

Seren - meaning star

Tallis - meaning woods

So what do you think? I want something not too ordinary, but has stood the test of time.

Seren Baker sounds like a novelist or movie star!!!!!! Ooh, if only dh wanted another baby, I'd definitely consider Seren!

I like Anais but dh didn't. My dd is Eden which was really unusual here four years ago but becoming more heard of just lately.

mummyloveslucy · 27/04/2009 21:39

Our surname means we can't have Elizabeth either. (oh well, I married him).

My Husbands favourates are Amelia, Seren and Tabitha.

I've decided I love Seren. It goes lovely with Lucy too.

Not Merryn, Seren (although love Serena) or Tallis - they sound made up, although I know they aren't. Love all the others

pavlovthepregnantcat · 27/04/2009 21:46

Amelia (milly)- like it, bit popular

Tabitha - reminds me of a cat

Katherine (Katy) - boring

Ophelia - she drowned herself. Not a good start

Talitha (Tally) - don't like it, no reason

Merryn - like it, perhaps s bit boyish.

Seren - like it, bit hippy?

Tallis - like it, bit to unusual?

SuziSeis · 27/04/2009 21:46

Thanks everyone. I did a test yesterday, it was one of those first response ones that can tell you 6 days earlier. I did it 3 days before my expected period and it was negative. It might just mean it was too early to tell.
I'm actually due on Friday. So I'll wait and see what happens.
