I can stand the insults!!!! Albert or Ernest?

I know they both sound a little 'fusty' to some people, but I thought it was definitely going to be Ernest - now quite like Albert!!!
What is the general feel?

They are both kinda nerdy ..actually.....Albert= king, old bloke Ernest weird American bloke with lots of sad movies ..or writer who commited suicide...but I like the Ali nickname

I have a uncle called Eustace...nickname Useless..lol..but that was when he was unemployed for a short time

Sorry I only think of Sesame Street Bert and Ernie.
By all means pick something unusual but maybe try and avoid names that invite jokes? I have a friend who called her son Victor and I still struggle with it a bit TBH.
If they are family names it seems to me they are just screaming out to be middle names?
