The classic names were nice but seemed quite dull IMO, what boys names would do you like that could be described as exciting or beautiful?

I once worked with a Cassion. Nice name, but he was a plonker.

VoodooWithBellsOn · 06/04/2009 20:57

there's a boy at our playgroup called Xonder

IwantPeace · 06/04/2009 20:57

I was responding to OrmIrian who was clearing messing around, not you lovely ladies who have suggested some great names.

Haven't I already mentioned Sol? And there are plenty of others I like.

I just wanted to get a big long list together before I sit down with DH (whose favourite boys name is Liam) and try and convince him to be a bit more adventurous

Hope I havent caused any offence

I am sorry but any kid called Titus will be tight-arse for the whole of his school life. and probably work life. don't do it.

everGreensleeves · 06/04/2009 21:00

I was only joking about being offended

but my faves are Kerry, Lucian, Christy and Keir

traceybath · 06/04/2009 21:01

Lysander is a lovely name - will keep that one in mind in case this baby defies the scanner and turns out to be a boy.

frazzledoldbag · 06/04/2009 21:01

Isn't Xonder that car that Jeremy Clarkson is always going on about on Top Gear?

Jojay · 06/04/2009 21:01

Oberon.

Love it

VoodooWithBellsOn · 06/04/2009 21:05

Flynn Finn and Felix are my faves.

VoodooWithBellsOn · 06/04/2009 21:06

yeah Xonder/Zonder.

I explained that to my sister and she said I meant 'Honda' daft mare.
How we laughed!

VoodooWithBellsOn · 06/04/2009 21:07

Sol as in Solomon?

I used to ride a brilliant showjumper called Solomon. Everyone called him Solly.

VoodooWithBellsOn · 06/04/2009 21:08

we are calling our dog Rudy, a golden retriever I am yearning for in a few years.

UpInArms · 06/04/2009 21:14

Rudy will always be the cute little girl from the cosbys to me

OrmIrian · 07/04/2009 07:49

Messing around?

How very dare you!

Didn't you like my suggestions?

seeker · 07/04/2009 07:50

Boys don't want exciting beautiful names - they want to be called Tom!
