The Archers

Love it!

DS is almost certain to be a Walter when he comes in 5 weeks.

Most people I have told have either pulled a face, or fallen about laughing, assuming I am joking. But I don't care. I love it, and a little toddler Walt is just too sweet.

Hmmm, not wonderful first impressions! I'm with missblythe - I love it and think it's really cute. No one else agrees with me!

It was also my lovely Granddad's name which is another reason that I love it.

Most people say it's an 'old man' name but so were a lot of names before they became 'young' again.

'Walter the Softy.'

Closely followed by 'one of Anne of Green Gables's children'.

maddylou · 03/04/2009 08:56

Old fashioned and the one I knew was a bit of a wimp----quite like it but not enough to use it

WantThisWantThat · 03/04/2009 08:58

I think of Walt on Lost and Qalt Disney. I actually like Walter as a name but hate Walt as a nn.

MmeLindt · 03/04/2009 09:01

Nothing comes into my head, I am a complete blank. I think that name is too bland for me to comment on.
