I know 2 adult Lydias - one that's never been shortened and a Lydie.

Supercherry · 10/03/2009 16:40

I prefer Lydia Rose. Sorry to mix your names up but that is my favourite combination out of your names.

stleger · 10/03/2009 16:43

That is my dd2's name...she is called Lyd at school, but only because they all use one syllable in her class.

Fimbo · 10/03/2009 16:45

I prefer Louisa Grace

lunamoon2 · 10/03/2009 16:49

Another vote for Lydia.

Do like all of them though.

Springhassprung · 11/03/2009 14:41

Lydia Louisa

Nemoandthefishes · 11/03/2009 14:43

have to say hannah as dd1[3.2yrs] is hannah may not met any other hannahs her age yet just older[over 10]

MadameCastafiore · 11/03/2009 14:43

They are all nice but the second bit is just a middle name isn't it - you aren't going to use both of them all of the time?

Louisa Grace is my fave.

kittykat21 · 11/03/2009 14:50

I like Lydia Grace, although I would wait to see what she looks like because we settled on the name Skye before our DD was born, but when she arived she realy didnt suit it so we changed it! All pretty names though.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 11/03/2009 15:08

Have to say you have FAB taste dd2 is Lydia Grace

nn wise she's mostly Lydie but was also Lydie Loo then loola now loola petula (so not particularly short nn (and loola petula does the hula on occasion!!!!!

Thought we'd been really original with the grace bit but now one of the more popular names, oh and atm she NOT graceful!!!!

Josiepie · 11/03/2009 18:12

Not keen on Lydia.
Hannah Rose for me.

Podrick · 11/03/2009 18:19

I love Lydia but don't personally like any of the other names

Hulababy · 11/03/2009 18:28

Sophie Louisa
Hannah Rose
Hannah Marie
Lydia Grace

They are all quite pretty names, certainly nothing there to offend

I do know children with all three first names, so I don't think any will be unique - probably all top 100 names for example, if this bothers you.

Sophie - I know a 7y, 6y and 5y
Hannah - know a 2y and a 5y
Lydia - know a 5y

Hulababy · 11/03/2009 18:29

My 2y neice is Hannah Rose infact

RachieB · 11/03/2009 21:43

Lydia Grace for me

hester · 11/03/2009 21:44

I like Lydia or Louisa.

EdwardBear · 11/03/2009 21:46

Lydia by far the lovliest

nappyaddict · 13/03/2009 13:56

I like Lydia Marie best.

changename1 · 13/03/2009 19:19

I have a hannah katherine

Lonnie · 13/03/2009 19:57

I would go with Louisa the otehrs are all on the top 20 list.. (ok just checked Lydia is no 85 but that was massively popular when I had my dd1 11 years ago there was 4 in her old school over 60 children.

I dont recall Louisa ever being on there (though Louise may have)

I know it may not bother you but personally I prefeer not to name my children what everyone else does.

dinkymum · 13/03/2009 19:57

Hannah Rose and Lydia Grace are both really but I have a neice whose a Hannah and it bigs me as she may as well be called Anna as people constantly drop the 'H' so maybe one that basis perhaps Lydia Grace would be my preference.

Take Care x

Laurenypops · 13/03/2009 20:06

Thanks all for your feedback. DH has made his choice of Hannah, but I'm still undecided! I did really want to avoid top twenty names, but they seem to be there for a reason ie they are nice. I think I swing towards Lydia, so I see some negotiating on the horizon! Thanks again.

Lydia. Neither of the Lydia's I know get shortened at all, all the Louise's/ Louisa's get shortened to Lou or lulu sometimes.

I prefer Anna to Hannah.

slowreadingprogress · 13/03/2009 20:13

I think Hannah is beautiful - I'd go for Hannah Rose. Very stylish and pretty.

angrypixie · 13/03/2009 20:24

No more Sophies!!!!!!!

Lydia Grace divine
Eliza Grace even better
