Well, no.

I can get behind Dulcie, and Elsie and Lois and Edie and loads of old names.

But not Queenie. It just sounds like either an insult, or a chain-smoking blue-haired monarchist.

What about Jeannie?! I really like that! If my parents had been stupid cruel enough to call me Queennie, I'd change it to Jeannie

I struggle to take any baby name thread even slightly seriously since I started one proposing Ketamine, and at least half the responses thought I was serious. Some even liked it.

I knew a Queenie. Well, when I say knew I didn't actually know her, I just used to see her wandering the streets with an old shopping trolley and a bottle of cheap red shouting f* off to everyone on the street. Thats probably tainted my view slightly.

i had a Nanny Queenie, and my Dad seriously thought i would call my daughter after her, I love the name because I loved my Nan but think it is abit old fashioned. That and my surname is Brown!!

I used to know a Grace Queenie she was a very cute and her name seemed quite lovely. The old lady connotations didn't really register tbh.
