Can you share girls names ending with an E sound...so Y or IE??
Our DD needs a name and we're not doing very well in coming up with one We can't keep calling her baby or little sister....

Betsy?

Dawnus · 26/02/2009 22:07

It would be pronounced Mazy rather than Masy if you know what I mean?

Hi DH

Congratulations!! (pleeese choose one of my names, I don't have any girls .....love my boys though)

dizzydixies · 26/02/2009 22:12

I like Ismay - its one of DD3's middle names - similar to Issey

Tillyscoutsmum · 26/02/2009 22:13

I don't think people would pronounce Issey, Izzy though (it would be issssssey as in Issey Miyake). It would lead to much confusion

No pressure though!

BlueBumedFly · 26/02/2009 22:18

Clemmie

scarletlilybug · 26/02/2009 22:19

Travis and Issy... a lot of "iss" sounds, no?

Prefer Maisie (and at least your dd won't endure a lifdetime of being asked "Is it short for Isabel?).

screamingabdab · 26/02/2009 22:19

But Harriet doesn't end with "ie". Does this mean we have to start again?, because believe you me, I'll stay up all night if I have to!

dizzydixies · 26/02/2009 22:21

PollyGarter · 26/02/2009 22:22
