Currently pregnant with dc3 and already have an Arthur and a Henry.

Shortlist for DC3 if a boy is as follows:

  • Oscar
  • Albert (bertie or bert)
  • Willoughby

Honest feedback please especially regarding Willoughby as DH convinced its not a proper name but one i've made up.

LOL at MadBad

"Oscar is nice but massively over-used (two in my daughter Melpomene's class)."

Oh yes. DS is called Agammemnon. We call him Aggie

what about WARREN? its a nice manly name!isnt overused, or too unusual that it sounds made up!

I like Albert and love Bertie as an abbreviation. But Albert is a bit close to Arthur. How about Herbert?

oh traceybath I like yr DSs' names!

Albert is nice but a bit similar to Arthur maybe? (tho not if Bertie).

I like Oscar as well.

How about Wilfred? Stanley? Sidney? Eric? Frederick? Edwin/Edward/Edgar? Or George. George is good.

Not mad about Willoughby, it's a surname in Sense and Sensibility and a first name in Tell Me Something Happy...but he's a rabbit (a nice one tho).

Could be Will I guess which is pretty cool.

I see everyone else has made all my points already!

As you appear to like "B" names this time around (Beatrice and Bertie), how about

Byron
Brian
Bob (Robert)
Bertram
Bernard
Benjamin
Benedict
Bartholomew (nn Tolly, which I think is lovely)
Barnabus/Barnaby

Love your DS's names. I'm thinking Arthur, Henry and Wilfred are great together. I know a 4 yr old Wilfred who is cute as a button and is shortened to either Wilf or Fred. Suits him perfectly! It's not too popular but suits the style of your other names really well.
