No

Good deities I hope you're kidding!

Wonderstuff · 24/01/2009 16:13

PMSL you are joking right?

hobbgoblin · 24/01/2009 16:16

I wasn't joking.

I need a name that is unusual, quirky in a lofty totally snobbyily intelectual un-chav way and that has meaning. All the other DC have a name that is related to something very personal about me/them at the time of their birth iyswim.

zero might be a bit American although it is not American in origin...

Greek is always good. Help. I wanted it to be a girl as /i had the name lined up and ready!

It means nothing, nil etc. Is that what you want for your son?

Oovavu · 24/01/2009 16:18

You'd be better off with 'Hero' then. Or even 'Zorro', for that matter, if you're liking the Z

muggglewump · 24/01/2009 16:19

What are the names of your other DC?

GossipMonger · 24/01/2009 16:20

Dreadful and cruel and mean.

Oovavu · 24/01/2009 16:20

Dh was keen on 'Hector' as it had heroic connotations for him.

(For me it had connotations of Kiki the frog and ZaZa the cat)

hobbgoblin · 24/01/2009 16:20

okay, so probably can't move away from the 'value-less' connotations...

Hero is dog food!

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 24/01/2009 16:21

I think your DS will need a special name Hobbgoblin. I've been following your story. I'm so pleased things are going well for you.

I think you need a really strong name, can't think of anything right now. Will maybe come back

Oovavu · 24/01/2009 16:21

Here you go: Greek boys' names

hobbgoblin · 24/01/2009 16:22

Other DC names include (not necessarily first names) Hermione and the name of Thor's Hammer (see wiki)
