Lowenna OTOH is nice olde Cornish name.

harpomarx · 09/01/2009 19:38

makes me think of a character out of a Patsy Cline song or Badlands... great film, not necessarily something I would want to associate my daughter with

Horton · 09/01/2009 19:38

Horrible made up name. Sorry. Also, why?

harpomarx · 09/01/2009 19:39

sort of x-posts with Metatron, except I said it in a very roundabout way!

atowncalledalice · 09/01/2009 19:39

MarchNowFebMum · 12/01/2009 00:10

LiffeyMermaid · 12/01/2009 11:32

God no, reminds me of that animated southparky thing, king of the hill, where the airhead niece was supposed to be her own half sister iykwim.

MrsMattie · 12/01/2009 15:14

Awful!

Tinker · 12/01/2009 15:16

Ha ha. I think you need to start a new thread with the correct spelling

Boobz · 12/01/2009 18:00

Lowenna, the Cornish name, is lovely. Have a friend whose sister is called Lowenna and she is simply stunning (DH couldn't take his eyes off her all through the wedding).

Boobz · 12/01/2009 18:00

Not our wedding, obviously. Our friend's wedding.

Bunch · 12/01/2009 18:01

Morwenna is nicer.

Horton · 12/01/2009 18:04

I like Lowenna much more than Louenna, but Morwenna is gorgeous.

Bunch · 12/01/2009 18:12

I agree Horton. That's why I choose it!!

Horton · 12/01/2009 19:01

Well done you. Seriously. That is a lovely name.

piscesmoon · 12/01/2009 19:13

A horrible made up name! If you want a nice Cornish one, Morwenna fits the bill.

Hulababy · 12/01/2009 19:28

I don;t liek Louenna, sorry.

MissGT · 12/01/2009 21:47

I have a friend called Luonne (pronounced Lu-on) which i quite like, tho perhaps only on her!
