I would say very chav or very posh, depending on the circles you move in, but I don't think it would make a chav posh, or vice versa. Probably woudln't go down easily anywhere in the middle.

You ought not to choose a name based on whether other people think it is "common" or "chav" but based on whether you like it. Don't be obsessed by what other people think of you.

Not too keen I'm afraid. It is very sandals and placenta parties I think.
Each to their own though. As said above it does depend on you, your family, social circles, lifestyle etc I thinkl and you probably wouldn't like my shortlist of names.

I know a little girl called Meadow, her mum is lovely but what I would describe as a lentil weaving, Earth Mother type. I think she is also very intelligent and caring, and recently organised an event to raise money for a terminally ill little boy. I certainly wouldn't describe her as 'chav' or 'common'!
It does suit the little girl, at first I was taken aback when she called the little girl 'Meadow' but I've gotten used to it!
BUT I'm not sure how it would work for an adult...

I am going to go against the grain and admit that I quite like it. Can see why people would link it to fields, flowers, hippies etc BUT I still like it. Much prettier and less common than Summer.
Such a shame so many people think it is a bit chav. I can think of a lot worse names out there that are overused and sick of them.
All those names that everyone thinks are so sweet at the moment with a touch of continental class I bet will be seen as stereotypical "joans and gladys" of the 90s and 2000s in a decade?s time - you know the types of lovely names I mean: eloise, amelie, pheobe, adelie et al (all nice names mind you, but..)
