I only really like Max and Jack out of your list

Stanley, Reggie, Alfie and Lenny sound like they should be drawing their pensions

ThePudding · 08/01/2009 15:03

Ethan and Harvey and Frankie

I like Jack or Max tbh

ThePudding · 08/01/2009 15:03

ThePudding · 08/01/2009 15:04

I know that noone else will agree with me but I LOVE the name Reggie, we call DS this as a nickname. But I think you have to be a real cheeky boy with lots of character to carry it off!
I also quite like Leo/ Leon from your list.

VinegarTits · 08/01/2009 15:11

Thanks Pudding

Do you want other suggetions too?

Elliot is nice

bubblebell1 · 08/01/2009 15:12

Max or Stanley.

Reggie sounds vulgar.

MadameCastafiore · 08/01/2009 15:14

DS is Max (imilian on Sundays or when I am cross) Elliot

MrsBadger · 08/01/2009 15:19

Leo
Jack
Max at a pinch

the rest are just too self-consciously old-man for me

VinegarTits · 08/01/2009 15:23

Herbie
Paddy /patrick
Tommy

(trying to think of old men names)

LaDiDaDi · 08/01/2009 15:25

Leo, like some of the others too but Leo goes best with your other choices imo.

Please do not call him Reggie.

I think a baby called Reg would be bloody genius...

beanieb · 08/01/2009 15:43

I love Stanley! love it. and Sydney and Alfie but Alfie is a bit over-used.

what about Fred?

CharleeinChains · 08/01/2009 15:44

I love Jack (bias) and Max and Leo all were on our list when we had our DS's.

BlueChampagne · 08/01/2009 15:45

If you like old-fashioned names, have you looked at the 'what was your Grandad called' thread?

How about:

Laurence
George
Morgan
Justin
Hector

littlelyn · 08/01/2009 15:57

Love Stanley and Leon. What about Arthur?

Not keen on Max. Other suggestions are fine but are becoming quite popular.

LynetteScavo · 08/01/2009 16:02

I like Max Alfie Lenny Leo and Jack best.

MrsBadger · 08/01/2009 16:05

Douglas?

bubblebell1 · 08/01/2009 16:21

thanks for your suggestions

Fred / Freddie is off limits same as oliver. My nephews are called that. not keen on douglas. i like arthur but my dh said that cruel kids will say 'o look its arthur brain' as in half a brain.
