Can any of you lovely people help - we are struggling to think of a name for DS2 (due in 3 weeks)

We already have a Frederick... what will go with it?

we like names that can be shortened, and nothing very popular (my name was #1 in the year I was born and I got very fed up with there being lots of kids at school with the same name)

Thanks in advance

Frederick is good BTW - he's Fred or Freddie I love it!

Edwin and Edward are out as they are already in the family...

William is good - but already have a version of it in the (slightly more distant) family....

i

My friend has just a ds and named him Ronnie which i think is really sweet and goes well with Freddie

LiffeyAnnaLivia · 04/01/2009 13:42

Julius, Marcus, Dominic, Patrick, Richard, Barnaby, Gregory, Zachary, Stanley, Peter, Jonathan.

If you're Scottish or like Scottish names I like the suggestions Donald, Douglas and Roscoe. I also like Fergus and Felix btw, but would avoid another F. Angus nice though,

LiffeyAnnaLivia · 04/01/2009 13:42

Victor as well. Frederick and Victor sound good together.

fymandbean · 04/01/2009 14:59

Victor is an interesting one....

Both DH and I like Wolfgang but don't feel we could inflict it on our new DS!
