I love both, but think I prefer Enid.
Both great names though.

Kristingle · 27/12/2008 18:45

Ursula

LiffeyanFiaRua · 27/12/2008 18:54

hmmmmm. I met an Ursula the other day and she was lovely, so I'm going to say Ursula. Although it wouldn't ever be on a list I'd have compiled.

lou33 · 27/12/2008 18:56

Ursula was one of hte names i considered for dd1, but she ended up a lily (17 next year )

Wolfblass · 27/12/2008 18:58

I really am not keen on either - sorry!

belgo · 27/12/2008 18:58

Ursula, lovely name.

LaDiDaDi · 27/12/2008 19:00

Enid.

I don't know why but I really dislike Ursula. To me it sounds like a medical term, like calling your daughter clavicle or scapula, though of course I know it's not.

QueenFeeUntoUsAChildIsBorn · 27/12/2008 19:05

Enid for me

FiveGoMadInDorset · 27/12/2008 19:06

Enid

dinkymum · 27/12/2008 19:12

Enid

WhileShosheWatchedHerFlocks · 27/12/2008 19:20

Enid, Enid, Oh God No.

horsemadgal · 27/12/2008 19:22

Ursula.

WorzselMummage · 27/12/2008 19:35

Enids beautiful I dont like Ursula atall though.

JacksFirstChristmasMama · 27/12/2008 19:37

Ursula. It's my mum's name so I'm a bit partial

blueshoes · 27/12/2008 19:46

ursula

BibiJesus · 27/12/2008 19:50

They are my gran's names - first and niddle - think they are both fabulous, but would go with Ursula

Leo9 · 27/12/2008 20:34

Find Enid a completely unattractive name I'm afraid

Ursula I do like though - very strong name.

Bessie123 · 27/12/2008 20:36

Sorry, I think both those names are foul. Ursula is better, I suppose, particularly if your baby is a bit hairy

cece · 27/12/2008 20:43

I like both but prefer Enid.

Bluestocking · 27/12/2008 20:44

Sorry, both awful beyond compare and not fit for a human being. Might be OK for a pet? Enid would suit a pot-bellied sow.

Bessie123 · 27/12/2008 20:45

snigger @ bluestocking

chaufleur · 27/12/2008 20:52

Ursula quite nice

Enid IMHO is completely inelegant, unattractive, dowdy, very blunt and just awful.... sorry!

LouMacca · 27/12/2008 20:55

There are so many lovely girls name around that I cannot imagine why you would want to choose either of these names. Sorry but I think they are awful esp. Enid - you cannot be serious!

minouminou · 28/12/2008 15:21

Ursula ursula ursula.
It's still a poss for DD's middle name (24 wks at mo).

piscesmoon · 28/12/2008 15:31

I can't think why you would consider either when there are so many lovely names to choose from.
