I like Sequoia as I love the tree of the same name and Sequoia national park is a wondeful place!!
I do like trees in general so douglas is good, nordman, ash(ley), linden, cecil(sessile), camellia, cherry (but not cherie), holly, elm(er), magnolia and mimosa. if you went into latin botanical names, the list is endles!!

Yosemite National Park is fabulous too - and so is the Peak District - but I don't think either are good names for human beings!

I know of the names of 2000ish 0-18 year olds through schools. clubs, etc, and none of the names I mention appear among them!

I know a Mark and a Susannah, but you are right, I have never ever encountered a baby "Paul" or "Susan". Not sure how ready the world is yet for more "Nigels" or "Kevins" - some name should take longer to come back than others.

There are 3 Mirandas (including my neice!) in my sample! No Peters though - and no Irises. There are also 2 Johnathans and 4 Frances/ises.

Oh, and 2 Susannahs, but no Susans
