I do think the child needs to look a certain way to get away with it though! Surferish!

Jude the Obscure?

Hey Jude?

I wouldn't personally pick it, but it doesn't sound horrible.

pgwithnumber3 · 05/09/2008 12:51

LOL Mutt! That would be okay!

Love, love, love it.

PrimulaVeris · 05/09/2008 12:54

It's short for Judas isn't it?

reikizen · 05/09/2008 12:55

I do like it but would be put off by the 'Jude the Obscure' connections. Too depressing!

Tatties · 05/09/2008 12:57

Jude the Obscure is why I love it!

MrsMattie · 05/09/2008 12:57

It's lovely. Very common among norf London chattering classes

Jojay · 05/09/2008 12:58

I think Jo Whiley from Radio One has a son called Jude.

I like it.

pgwithnumber3 · 05/09/2008 13:10

St Jude is the Patron Saint of Lost Causes?

Well, we know of 3 in the immediate area/circle of friends. But I guess tere's alot of Thomas/James/Christopher etc too. If it doesnt bother you, then go for it, cos its a good sounding name.

Boulders · 05/09/2008 13:15

It's nice if a bit girly. I agree that there are a lot of young Judes about, it has become popular since Jude Law became well known.

wessexgirl · 05/09/2008 13:17

I love it.

Lomond · 05/09/2008 13:18

I love it too, don't know any in my area.

buttercreamfrosting · 05/09/2008 13:31

Don't like it.

3andnomore · 05/09/2008 14:01

Hm...it's one of those names I can't work out if I like it or not....which doesn't make any sense at all, nor is it helpful, lol!
I think it might be, because I really do like Jude Law so, in a way that makes think positive of the name....but that might be the only reason....can't explain it, lol

ethanchristopher · 05/09/2008 17:36

i love it!

its realy nice, although does have the jude law association

but when he's older that association wil probs not exist
