just to point out Rebecca (or Rebekah) is a nice name .. i know its mine! but i would only name your child this if you can cope with the shortening Becky .. i absolutely hate being called becky and my mom hates it when people call me becky,so we have spent the whole of my life correcting people who automatically shorten my name even though i have just introduced myself as Rebecca
