Thoughts on baby name Felicity?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Moveoverdarlin · Yesterday 10:21

Dated, but not in a classic way. Reminds me of 1980s Pony Club girls.

faerylune · Yesterday 10:21

love it, love nn Lissy

Melsy88 · Yesterday 10:21

Like Felicity - not keen on your nn's: I prefer Fliss

girljulian · Yesterday 10:23

Love it but not your nicknames. She'll end up being Fliss.

SouthLondonMum22 · Yesterday 10:25

My 2 year old is Felicity so I obviously love it. She is Fliss occasionally but mostly just Felicity.

MJOverInvestor · Yesterday 10:25

I know two - one is generally called Fel and is absolutely lovely

Altodela · Yesterday 10:27

I don’t like it. Sounds harsh and ugly

RaraRachael · Yesterday 10:29

It's never been a favourite of mine. It just seems a bit of a mouthful to pronounce.

TheeNotoriousPIG · Yesterday 12:12

I think that it is an excellent name, so much so that it is on my list for any future DD.

HolidayPlanningAgain · Yesterday 12:15

Love it, know 2 Felicity’s (adults) known as flick and fliss

ILoveKits · Yesterday 12:15

Lovely. I know a Fizz.

Lovely. I know a Fizz.

I came on to say I like the name but all the shortenings are a bit rubbish. I like Fizz though!

ThePineappleSeahorse · Yesterday 12:24

I love it.

Firsttimebabymummy · Yesterday 13:42

Love Felicity!

MyFavouriteGame · Yesterday 14:52

I love it!

DelphiniumBlue · Yesterday 14:55

Love it. I also like Felice.

Bunnyofhope · Yesterday 14:55

I like it and have known a few. Catholics. Usually with a sister called Perpeptua.

Julynian · Yesterday 15:01

I love it, such a pretty name with a lovely meaning.

malloryknox123 · Yesterday 15:04

If you want your DD called Flick

smelps · Yesterday 15:05

I love it and work with the most lovely Felicity

Abra1t · Yesterday 15:07

I like it!

Calliopespa · Yesterday 16:12

I think it is a lovely name - with a great meaning.

As far as being dated goes, it is quite fashionable for very young girls atm, so I don' think that is a concern. If anything, it might be a bit too overused!

But I love it. I knew several (born in the 80's) and all of them were charismatic and vivacious.

Daffodilsinthespring · Yesterday 16:13

Lovely.

QuaintGreenFawn · Yesterday 16:14

I quite like it but not Flick or Fliss which I think would be hard to avoid

Glovenove · Yesterday 16:16

Beautiful - I had it on my list but had to rule it out due to a clunky surname
