How many Lila/Lyla/Lilah and even Delilah girls do you know? I wonder, especially with combined spellings, how common it really is?

As a teacher who has read out millions of names over the names, hardly any.

Pronounced 'lie la' or 'leyla'?

I like the name but do think of the German colour when reading it, which is actually still very pretty. Xxx

I’m a teacher - big secondary school, we currently have 4 Lilahs and then personally I know 3. It’s really growing in popularity but it is beautiful!

One Lilah (my little girl), and a lovely little pug called Lyla 😂

That’s who my daughter was named after because she was my favourite character so it subsequently ended up being my favourite name for most of my childhood/life 😂 no idea that nearly 30 years later is would be so popular!

No Lilas but 2 called Delilah.

I like Lila. Reminds me of the Sweet Valley High books.

I work in a school. There is a Lyla/Lila in every year, and multiples of Layla/Delilah/Lily/Lola. We’ve also got Lily-Mae and Lyla-Rae
