Do you prefer Axel or Justin? I've gotten some faces when I've mentioned either as potential names we're considering (which has caused a bit of doubt).

Pause OP and think for a minute… do you actually like let alone love the name Axel so much that you want to name your child it

or Are you just looking for something unusual and sod whether you love it or not

id have a re-think both are awful!

One is aging greasy rocker and the other is elderly refined chap with plums in his mouth accent!
No idea how you could like both!

Sorry op, I'm not keen on either but if I had to choose I would choose Justin.

I like Justin. Axel isn't bad but I think of Rose or the eldest son from The Middle.

Axel made me smile, but it is one of those names like Tyler or Rilee that is going to prejudice people (like Wayne, Jason and Darren when I was at school! And Gary 😀.)

I was once at a work event when a woman was telling a colleague that a member of their team had had the baby and they were calling it ‘Piston’. A few days later it was revealed that he was actually called Axel.

There's an Axel in my child's school - he has Swedish parents (and surname). Personally I prefer Alex. Never met a Justin. Do you like other J names - Jonah, Joseph, Jude, Joel?
