Is Emily Rose too dated, or still a timeless baby name?

I like classic no nonsense sounding names and think Emily rose is very pretty although im very aware Emily is dropping in popularity from its peak in 90s-00s it ranks 34 so not unheard of but i doubt ill meet many babies with it these days.

I’d be open to other suggestions for middle names but I’m def picking Emily. I know rose seems to get eye rolls on here as middle because it’s very overused but it seems to flow great with any name. My ds told me that her daughter who’s 22 went to school with a lot of Emily roses and says its a very 2000s cutesy type combo and sounds abit dated now and overdone similar to how Olivia rose, Ava rose etc is now. It does sound like a type of combo that got popular very quick while Emily itself was peaking even tho rose is very classic of course i can tell most Emily Roses are born in early 2000s. Should I avoid this combo if i want a timless name? or choose different middle name that sounds less cutesy and more formal like Catherine, Elizabeth etc something slightly more dignified?

any suggestions would be appreciated

It’s a lovely name.
What matters is that you like it and it isn’t a silly name which will ever cause your daughter grief.

Grief can also be caused by sharing a common name with lots of others, from constantly having to add your surname to potential identity fraud.

This is especially relevant if you have a common surname.

Emily is fairly timeless but also too cute for an adult, can't take adults called Emily seriously. Rose while a nice name is much too overused as a middle name, it's like Louise in the 80's, a whole host of women of a certain age were given the middle name Louise, now there is an abundance if little girls with the middle name Rose.

There must be thousands of adult Emilys.
Emily Maitlis, Emily Thornberry, Emily Blunt, Emily Watson, Emily Bronte, Emily Bishop, ...

My DD was in a school class with 4 Emily’s in mid 90s. They were everywhere! No idea about Rose but we used it as we have several generations of Rose. So for us, it’s a family name. No one used Emily Rose as a two name forename. They were all just Emily. That’s the common name in my view.
