Struggling to find a name for our third child (a girl). Looking for suggestions on girls names that go well with Sebastian and Emilia but also ones that are not too popular if possible!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

SereneGoose · 23/05/2026 23:58

Im going to ask...is Victoria really dreadful?

Cicely or Verity

Antonia

My first thought was Genevieve

massivestress · 24/05/2026 00:21

I think Sebastian, Emilia and Freya sounds nice

FuckingDone · 24/05/2026 00:26

Rose was the first name that popped in to my head. It’s not a favoured name of mine but it just sounds right.

Rosamund is the first name that came to mind.

or Rosalind if you want to continue your Shakespearean theme!

As you’ve gone for longer names how about

Matilda
Annabel/Annabella
Isabelle/Isabella
Eliza

or maybe something shorter

Florence
Rose/Rosa
Maeve/Maeva

Yes as we have a very boring short single syllable surname we generally want a longer first name to balance it!

I love love Isabelle and Isabella but it’s just sooo popular now. My son has 2 others with the same name in his class which is a bit of a pain, so I’m now very wary of choosing a super popular name! I like Annabelle too but my husband has vetoed that!

Susannah
Imogen
Vivienne
Francesca
Lydia
Zoe

Of these Imogen is my favourite. It’s really growing on me but seems quite a divisive choice … lots of people seem to really dislike it for some reason… not sure why!

Seb, Emi and Lottie (Charlotte)

Love love love the nickname Lottie, but Charlotte was the name of the school bully so I’m not sure I can get over that 😂

Well, I don't know if it's intentional, but you have a Shakespeare theme going on!

Juliet, Rosalind, Hermione, Portia, Beatrice

Or Ophelia (v popular and I'm not sure I'd go for it)

Ha it wasn’t but someone else pointed that out! It’s quite a nice tradition to continue if I can find one I like! Beatrice could work, although I’m not sure I love it.

Clara

coolastheproverbialcucumber · 24/05/2026 11:51

Sophie. Classic but surprisingly few and far between, at least around our way!

Princessfluffy · 24/05/2026 11:52

Julia or Cordelia

It would be nice! Emilia is one of my favourite characters and I think it's a beautiful name.

Forgot about Viola ( or Violet I'm sure would be acceptable 😂)

Pinkl · 24/05/2026 13:43

Tamsin
Ariella
Francesca

Notellinganyone · 24/05/2026 13:43

Viola - unusual and continues your Shakespeare theme! Imogen, Hester, Cecily/ Cecilia.

timoteigirl · 24/05/2026 13:52

Catherine is much better than Viola
