A sibling for Freya

Tellmetomorrow57 · 13/04/2026 11:14

Looking for some potential matches to go with Freya. We chose this when it wasn't quite as popular, but still love it!

We've ruled out loads of names for various reasons and I know that sibsets don't have to 'match', but we're struggling to land on a shortlist!

Don't know the sex of the baby yet, so boy or girl name suggestions welcome!

Thank you.

I love some of these! Declan, Dora and Phoebe in particular.

Not so keen on Arlo or Romy, they feel too modern but might be my prejudice!

Great boy names- I think I'm struggling more with them. I love all of them, although Hugo makes me think of a Hugo Spritz which is a drink im rather partial to 🤣

I suppose old fashioned names are coming back 🤣 but they're not for me, I'm naming a baby born in 2026, not the cast of dinner ladies!

I think some of these might be a bit too much for Liverpool, I do like Astrid though!

You've hit on a couple of our Great and Grandparent names there 🥰.

Have to weigh up sides of the family getting offended though if we went down that route 🤣

I do think Phoebe goes well with Freya, gives similar vibes to me.

If not, I'd be drawn towards another name with r in.
Lyra
Marnie
Erin
Clara
Cora
Piper
Seren
Yara
Something like that.

I find boys names tougher too. Perhaps Jonah or Brody.

We chose this when it wasn't quite as popular How old is she? It'd been in the top 30 for 20 years, with the number registered each year being fairly constant.

10, maybe it's a local area thing/ just my perception of the name! There's one other in her school that I know of, but I've come across a few more (physio) of secondary age since naming her!

I love Elliot (might be my top choice for a boy so far) and Ethan too actually.

There's a lot of Olivia's, Molly's and Chloe's my age, so I think I'd swerve those ones.
