What are the current “naughty boy/girl” names?

i know there’s been threads like this done before I read some from 20 years ago when I was a kid myself. Obviously baby naming has changed a lot since then.
Because there will undoubtedly be someone who says this is mean spirited then this is your warning to not bother reading it.

I’m curious to see if my kids names come up because they did on a few of the old threads 😂. Comments from teachers especially welcome

Definitely the Jayden, Kayden, Brayden’s for the boys!

Also agree with the made up names being trouble.

My son’s name has just appeared 😂 he was a nightmare in school but is now very well settled in an excellent job so maybe these children will grow into their names!

Names as nicknames eg Robbie Archie

2Rebecca · 28/01/2026 17:00

I mean nick names as names

housethatbuiltme · 28/01/2026 17:01

I have known a few Archie & Jack that definitely are the kind the get called 'boisterous', 'confident', 'cheeky chappy', 'boys will be boys' etc... which seems to basically mean 'handful', 'loud', 'rude but laughs while saying it', 'already showing toxic male traits'.

For girls I know a very 'bossy' Sienna which is girl version for 'handful' but to be fair I only know one so weather all Sienna match that or its just her who knows.

AKA 'What particular class or ethnic prejudices are you happy to share on this thread?'

Are you suggesting that there are some classes or ethnic groups that are more likely to have naughty children? Because I actually think this crosses class and cultural divides. Perhaps you think not?

I remember in one of my first teaching jobs in about 1972 there was an Archibald, his mother didn't allow anyone, including the boy, to shorten it to Archie, he hated his name and was a very unhappy 11 year old, He'll be well over 60 now, hopefully he's managed to shorten his name!

My Archie is Archibald, we shorten it. Although when henis naughty he is called Archibald! I think it's good name to be used young and old. My Grandad was Archibald and suited him as an old man x

I want to know if the OP is a Katie Hopkins fan and is looking out for the "naughty" names to see which kids and parents to avoid on the school run 🤣🤣

No lol both my kids names have been mentioned now, also the other half’s name is on here maybe my parents should of listened to Hopkins and I wouldn’t have gotten pregnant by him when I was 15 😂

I was out the other day and heard two separate toddler Theodore’s being told off (my own terribly behaved Theodore was at nursery at the time 🤦‍♀️)

My dog is called Theodore and he’s a pain in the arse 😂.

I don't really understand this thread but there's a fantastic mine of names for anyone expecting. Surely every name ever is on here?
