I think Sophia/Sofia is the most popular girls names the world over and has been for years! Isn't that Maria?

I know many Sophias/Sofias and Sophies.
Were there any Sophies born before the 1960s? I wouldn't say it was timeless.

Rosa ❤️

RegalDiamondMonster · 24/01/2026 19:46

Sophie Robertson flows the best.

Without knowing your surname i would have also said Rosa and Rae were nice, but I don't think they flow as well. (Rae is a different vibe, but is a pretty sound.)

StripedVase · 24/01/2026 20:42

I'm going to be a lone voice for Rae Robertson being a fantastic name!

user2848502016 · 24/01/2026 20:46

Sophie

I love Rosa too but not keen on alliteration first name & surname

Advocodo · 24/01/2026 20:46

Sophie.

LivingTheDreamish · 24/01/2026 23:20

I would go with the alliteration OP. Rosa Robertson is a standout name.

Giraffehaver · 24/01/2026 23:22

Rosa is lovely

AffableBill · 24/01/2026 23:25

Rosa Elle Robertson is an excellent name.

SalmonOnFinnCrisp · 24/01/2026 23:25

Sophie

TappyGilmore · 24/01/2026 23:32

Sophie would be my pick out of those, but it’s so popular that I don’t love it.

Rosa just seems a little off for me. Rosie might be nicer?

Rae and Elle don’t seem like whole names to me. They are abbreviations for something else.

Happy2026 · 24/01/2026 23:45

Rosa or Rae

mumwithallthebooks · 24/01/2026 23:51

Another vote for Sophie (or Sophia) Robertson. Elle or Rae as middle names if you really like them. Rosa doesn't go with Robertson unfortunately, or at least not to my ear!

redlorryyellowbus · 24/01/2026 23:58

I liked Rosa until I saw your surname.

Then switched to Sophie.

Although in dc’s class there’s Sienna Smith, Arthur Alexander and Lexi Lewis and no one bats an eyelid so now I say Rosa again!

alexdgr8 · 25/01/2026 00:00

Sophie definitely.
Head and shoulders above the rest.

MidLifeStrife · 25/01/2026 00:05

I don't like Rae at all. Elle doesn't sound finished. Sophie is classic but a bit meh/boring as well.

I love Rosa though and it's nice with Robertson.

ScullyD · 25/01/2026 00:50

My middle name is Rae. Didn’t realise it was so hated!

if im honest i like it as a middle name but not first

Gabitule · 25/01/2026 00:53

Sophie

Pettenell · 25/01/2026 08:24

Sophie for sure!

As someone who grew up with an alliterative name and hated it, I'd avoid Rosa and Rae. Elle is okay and my second choice.

wizzler · 25/01/2026 08:47

Rosa or Sophie

luckylavender · 25/01/2026 08:54

Like them all except Rae

Greenpeanutsnail · 25/01/2026 08:56

I love Rosa, Rae and Sophie, but I think Sophie goes best with Robertson. I’m not against alliteration, but I just don’t think Rosa and Rae work so well with Robertson. Not keen on ‘Elle’ as it sounds like a letter, but that’s possibly unfair of me. Ella is overdone, but does sound nice with Robertson.

Makingpeace · 25/01/2026 08:56

Sophie. The rest sound awful.

pouletvous · 25/01/2026 08:56

Ella is nicer than Elle.

EleanorReally · 25/01/2026 08:58

Rosa
Sophie

dislike Elle
why not Ellie?
dislike Rae
